Cheurie is the daughter of Rev. Charles & Mrs. Carol Savage of Xenia, Ohio. She is our sweet daughter-in-law and mother of our four wonderful grandchildren, Jon Leighton II, Kaycee Mae, Laurisa Maree, and James Wilbur. She is the secretary at FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH and teaches the Teenage Girls Class. She sings with the Faithful Trio of our church and has recorded three solo CD's. Cheurie and the four children live with us in McCordsville, Indiana. Cheurie travels with the children to sing in revivals, Bible conferences, campmeetings and other special meetings. Occasionally, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. & Mrs. Larry Groves, travel with her and the children to sing and minister with the family. Jon II is the pianist at Faith Baptist Church and has recorded and produced his own solo CD. Other instruments the family play are guitar, banjo, mandolin, flute and clarinet. (O, yes, James plays the tuba).
